Utility of Rapid Antigen Tests in Nursing Homes. In their article, McKay and colleagues show that rapid antigen tests have utility in nursing home settings to screen nursing home residents and staff. The editorialists discuss how these findings provide additional support to the idea that antigen testing could be useful to identify people who are likely to be contagious and may transmit SARS-CoV-2, and that rapid antigen tests can be a useful screening tool to limit infectious outbreaks.
