Pediatric Surgical Revisits by Specialty and Procedure Across US Children's Hospitals, 2016-2020. This study uses data from the Pediatric Health Information System (PHIS) to examine rates of 30-day all-cause readmissions and emergency department visits across all major pediatric surgical subspecialties at US tertiary care children’s hospitals to inform efforts to reduce revisits after pediatric surgery.
