The oral cavity includes the lip, floor of the mouth, oral tongue, alveolar ridge, retromolar trigone, hard palate, and buccal mucosa. The oropharynx includes the soft palate, tonsil, posterior and lateral pharyngeal walls, and base of the tongue. The hypopharynx includes the pyriform fossa, lateral and posterior hypopharyngeal walls, and postericoid region. The larynx includes the supraglottic, glottic, and subglottic larynx.
