The supraspinatus muscle tendon attaches to the greater tuberosity of the humerus. The subscapularis tendon attaches at the lesser tuberosity. The bicipital tendon (not shown) courses in the groove between the tuberosities along with arterial branches of the anterior circumflex artery.
