©2013 UpToDate ® Print Email Atrial pacing reduces the incidence of AF Among patients with recurrent atrial fibrillation (AF), actuarial curves show that, compared to observations before pacemaker implantation, atrial pacing (both single-site and dual-site) significantly improved the proportion of patients free of recurrent atrial fibrillation.
