©2013 UpToDate ® Print Email Efficacy of early BMT in multiple myeloma Survival data from a randomized trial which compared high-dose chemotherapy supported by autologous bone marrow transplantation (BMT) with conventional chemotherapy in 200 previously untreated patients under the age of 65.
