©2013 UpToDate ® Print Email Plasma BNP concentration predicts survival in patients with HF In an analysis from the Val-HeFT trial, patients with NYHA class II to III heart failure (HF) were stratified according to quartiles of plasma concentration of brain natriuretic peptide (BNP).
